School Based Enterprise
Linked below are the Guidelines for School-based Enterprise (School Store) Certification and Re-certification for 07-08. Please discard any other Guidelines you currently have, as these have some changes (made August 16) that will impact your certification/re-certification for this year. Remember that getting your store certified gives validation and recognition for your school store. Bronze and Silver Level certified school stores are recognized at the state level and Gold Level Certified and Gold Level Re-certified SBEs are eligible to bring 1-3 student managers to ICDC in Atlanta where they will receive their award/recognition on stage.
The new SBE Advisory Council met in Atlanta recently and made some excellent suggestions for future DECA SBE programs. The most exciting news is that there will be an SBE Academy for your students who attend ICDC to accept the award for Gold Certification and Gold Re-certification. We will me sending you details about the SBE Academy later in the Fall.
