Nnaoma Oji
State President
nnaoma.oji@mndeca.org
Nnaoma was recently elected President of Minnesota DECA for 2010-2011 and is excited about the opportunity to lead and serve. Nnaoma is currently a senior at Irondale High School where he is very involved. He is a member of DECA, National Honor Society, a peer mentor, captain of the track team, and on the varsity football team. All of these activities have given him valuable insight on what it takes to be a leader and how to communicate with others, stay organized, and give back to his school and community. Outside of DECA, Nnaoma volunteers at his church and works as a youth basketball referee and coach. He also enjoys spending time with friends, staying active, and taking on eating challenges. Next year, Nnaoma plans to go to a four year university and hopes to study medicine and management.
This is Nnaoma’s second year in DECA and he hopes to build on the success that he achieved last year. Last year, he served as Chief Financial Officer and Co-Vice President of Operations in his chapter and competed at Internationals. This year, Nnaoma’s focus shifts toward Minnesota DECA and how he can make sure this year is the best year ever. He hopes to grow member’s business and marketing skills, increase networking within DECA, and connect with local businesses. He is extremely excited for the State Conference and looks forward to networking and seeing the hard work of all of his fellow DECA members. He hopes everyone has a great year! |

Zach Clement

Public Relations
zach.clement@mndeca.org
My name is Zach Clement and I am your 2010-2011 State Officer: Vice President of Public Relations. I am looking forward to connecting with MN DECA more this year and developing goals that will help everyone succeed. A personal goal everyone should have is to "Expand Your Network"!
I am a senior at Mound-Westonka High School and I joined DECA as a freshman. During the past four years, the great leaders of my local and state levels have helped me evolve into a knowledgeable DECA member. I am very fortunate to lead MN DECA this year and wouldn't have been able to if it wasn't for all the support. With three years of chapter officer experience I believe I will bring the experience needed to make this year a great year for MN DECA.
At Mound-Westonka I am involved in numerous activities. This year I was one of our football captains and I plan on doing track and field this spring. Outside of school I enjoy being outdoors. I love being on the lake in the summer and snowboarding in the winter.I currently work at the Wayzata Eatery and enjoy the connections I make between DECA and the real world.I am looking forward to the 2010-2011 conferences and seeing everyone there! |
